SCHEME TEMPORARILY ON HOLD AS OF 20/08/09 DUE TO STAFFING
SCHEME TEMPORARILY ON HOLD AS OF 20/08/09 DUE TO STAFFING
Please send through feedback on any contact you have had with the refuge - good or bad! - by e-mail to the address on the 'How to contact us' page. This is invaluable to us
We are happy to launch a scheme new to us for 2008 and possibly a new idea to you.
Many of our dogs are likely to live out their years with us due to age, illness or the fact that they are unsuitable to be rehomed as a domestic pet.
Costs of keeping a dog fit, healthy and fed long term are high and sponsoring a dog for 5€ a month/60€ a year will help greatly and make a really big difference. Payment of sponsorship fees from outside of France would have to be via our 'Paypal' option.
If you can't adopt a dog but would like to support our work why not Sponsor a Dog, helping towards its costs and helping to give an unwanted dog a safe and happy life.
Sponsor a Dog as a gift - for Christmas or for a birthday! No more wasting money on plastic toys or unwanted shop bought items!
Perhaps your place of work or your club or society that you belong to may like to sponsor a dog collectively? It could be your mascot!
Simply choose from the dogs below and contact us for a sponsor form to register your choice. In return for your support and sponsorship you will receive a certificate with photo and an annual update on your dog with news from the refuge.
Go Ahead, Do a Good Deed!

| ROMEO 8 YEAR OLD MALE FRENCH BULLDOG Poor Romeo was skin & bones when he arrived! His elderly owner was taken into care and her family wanted nothing to do with this poor old boy so took the easy option and abandoned him at the refuge in november 08. He is blind and deaf and as a result gets very angry when bumped around by other dogs!!! He is so very much better generally - has filled out and his coat gleams. At 8 years old and with his health problems he won't be leaving the refuge! |

PRISCA - No ID 2BMF836 A 9 year old female 'cross' Poor Prisca had previously been adopted from the refuge but was bought back following an accident that had left her handicaped. After 2 months of reeducation she regained a good degree of mobility but it is unlikely that anyone will want to adopt her.

| GISMO - No ID A 12 year old male Alsatian cross This poor old boy ended up at the refuge when his owners needed somewhere to leave him whilst they went to spend some time in America - only thing is they have never bothered to come back for him! His age is against him and chances are he will never leave. Gismo is part of our 'Operation Older Dogs'!!! |
RIVA - No ID 2AJW 639 An 8 year old female Griffon cross Riva has lived at the refuge for 5 of her 8 years and as she has a hernia she may never find someone who cares enough to offer her a home. | |
UDINE - No ID 250269500172632 A 5 year old female Epagnol Breton Though only 5 years old Udine suffers from Diabetes which has left her blind. It also means she is very overweight and appears very much older than she really is! She is incredibly sweet and luckily for her has now been placed with a foster family!! |
